Controversial artist, Damien Hirst has proposed a 66 ft 10 inches giant sculpture of a naked pregnant woman holding a sword.
The work, Angel of the West, to be erected in a car park, according to sources from the U.K will be on loan to the Devon county, southwestern England.

Hirst, the sources said, wants the local county to have the statue on loan for 20 years if they grant him the necessary permission.
However, Hirst’s idea of an ‘Angel’ has already divided the community known as a teenage pregnancy black-spot. Some residents of Devon have dubbed the sculpture, ‘The Belly of the South’.
But councillor Mike Edmunds thinks differently. He was quoted saying “We have got to find new ways of attracting visitors. We are lucky to have an artist of Damien’s stature in the area and we want to start rebranding the town in the area of the arts rather than as just a traditional resort.’
