Borders Trans-African Project featured in the just-concluded Addis Ababa
Foto Fest 2012 held at The Africa Union Conference Centre in Addis Ababa,
Ethiopia from the December 3 to 8.
Artists on display included those who
were part of the Invisible Borders Road
Trip project from 2010 to 2012: Amaize Ojeikere, Ray Daniels Okeugo, Jide
Odukoya, Jumoke Sanwo, Kemi Akin-Nibosun, Charles Okereke, Uche Okpa Iroha,
Lilian Novo Isioro, Ala Kheir, Emeka Okereke, Emmanuel Iduma, Nike
Adesuyi Ojeikere.
The show was made possible by the
support of DFA Creative Company, Africa Union Border Protection Programme, the
European Union and the German Institute for International Cooperation (GIZ) of
Ethiopia.
“We equally use this opportunity to say
thank you to the organisers of the Addis Foto Fest for facilitating the this
exhibition,” members stated.
