New discovery of spider rock art, which could
possibly be the only one of such in the world has been found by archaeologists
in Egypt.
The new discovery has been described as rock panel,found on the west wall of a shallow sandstone valley, in the Kharga Oasis, Egypt's western desert.
The discovery has been described by Egyptologist Salima Ikram as "very unusual". The identification of the creatures as spider is tentative and the date of it uncertain, Ikram a professor at the American University in Cairo who co-directs the North Kharga Oasis Survey Project explained to LiveScience../MORE.
