Golden Globe snubs Ejiofor, gives ‘12 Years A Slave’ Best Drama

It was a night of win and win at the Golden Globe Awards 2014 for David O. Russell's musical comedy, American Hustle, which picked three awards: best musical or comedy, best actress for Amy Adams and best supporting actress for Jennifer Lawrence.

Monitored on TV, the award, which held Sunday night at Beverly Hilton gave Best Drama to 12 Years A Slave. The results indicated that the British filmmaker, Steve McQueen’s film lost six out of the seven nominations.

But McQueen, the director of the film was pleased, so suggests his response. "Little bit in shock," he said., clutching the award. "I wasn't expecting it."
