During the opening of the exhibition.

Today, during the opening of a tour exhibition Post-Oil City: The History of the City’s Future, at Goethe Institut, Lagos Island, Nigeria.
Speaking on the exhibition, Mareike Borgdstedt of the Goethe Institut says it presents innovative projects in Asia, Africa, and the Americas that address urgent questions of post-fossil fuel urban cities.

“How will the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy affect the process of urban planning and the city? How will the use of renewable energies affect urban metabolism and the politics of sustainability and mobility?”
