Meet Sola Arashi, an emerging queen of the airwave

In just three months of relaxing the nerves of Lagos motorists on Lagos Traffic Radio 96.1 fm, Oluwanisola Arashi appears to be an emerging Queen of the airwave with her shift Night Waves
Presenter of Night Wave, Lagos Traffic Radio, Oluwanisola Arashi
After the regular troublesome Lagos traffic, she takes you on with her golden voice from 9 p.m. till the midnight, every day on the Lagos traffic radio station. In fact, there are indications that Sola Arashi Fans Club is underway.

More importantly, Arashi is a reluctant 'marriage counsellor' on radio: her fans would always argue she is a relationship expert, but 'Omo Alhaja' as she is called by callers on the radio insists such toga "is too big for my shoulders."

Confirming her natural talent is the fact that Arashi did not set out to take up formal training in the media. In fact, she studied Architecture at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State.

And And why did she dump architecture for broadcasting? "I just didn't fit in," she explains.
